Kristin and Mark Troy embody the Middle Fork of the Salmon at its core. Both raised in Idaho, Mark grew up in a family of fly fisherman and has been guiding the crystal clear rivers of Idaho for 4 decades. Kristin grew up in Salmon ID, a mecca for white water rafting launches, where she and Mark raised two beautiful children, now grown, who are licensed river guides themselves. The two have owned and operated their own whitewater rafting and fishing company, Idaho Adventures, for 20 years. In addition, Kristin is the founding executive director of Lemhi Regional Land Trust, a non-profit private land conservation organization that has protected thousands of acres of land and wild habitat in the region. The most interesting part to their story . . . they managed Middle Fork Lodge 21+ years ago for 2 years in 1998 under the current owner. They are pleased to be back in the wilderness, now hosting premier rafting excursions on the magnificent Middle Fork.
